"Welcome to Community, a Thriving Congregation of The United Methodist Church!

Established in the summer of 1923, we have grown to be known as the “Community” Church in Pasadena, Maryland that serves as “A Beacon of Christ’s Love.”

There is not a day during the year, that there is not some type of ministry or activity that is taking place in the building, or church related in the community. From a popular and very professional Preschool and Kindergarden school running for over twenty years, to daily A.A. meetings, to after school activities, the 5th Quarter (ask about this one…it’s a cool event) or “Camp Hope” (an experience that will change your life and the lives of your teenagers), daytime and evening Bible Studies and alternative faith building programs or other community events, the list is almost endless.
